About the role
The Service Center Manager is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. The role ensures efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
- Ensure the warehouse layout optimizes space and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or excess.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
- Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal performance and coverage.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
