About the role
Otis Elevator is seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead our service and repair operations in Reno, providing day-to-day management and training of field staff. This role focuses on employee selection, development, field training, and safety while ensuring superior customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole on-site Supervisor for the Reno office.
- Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory.
- Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards.
- Allocate resources such as manpower and materials effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct field education and training for the workforce.
- Improve efficiencies by managing route schedules and callback rates.
- Provide or redirect technical support to field staff.
- Authorize repair orders and track their completion.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and communication.
Requirements
- High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 7 years).
- Elevator industry experience is desired but not required.
- Experience working with a team of technicians is required.
- Leadership experience is required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a dynamic environment.
- Strong computer and technology skills, business acumen, and a passion for customer service.
- Travel within your territory is required; a driver’s license is necessary.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000. Pay within this range will be based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
