Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary consulting teams in the execution of power market studies, asset valuations, financing and M&A transaction support engagements, and strategic advisory projects.
- Oversee development of long-term energy, capacity, ancillary service, and REC price forecasts across major U.S. power markets.
- Ensure technical quality, commercial relevance, and timely delivery of client-facing work products.
- Review and provide guidance on power market modeling using PROMOD, PSLF, and other analytical tools.
- Present analyses and recommendations to executive-level client audiences.
Client Management and Business Development
- Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and emerging market sectors.
- Lead proposal development efforts, including scope definition, pricing, and staffing strategies.
- Support growth initiatives related to energy transition, battery storage, data centers, transmission, and power market investment activity.
- Represent ICF at industry conferences, client meetings, webinars, and other external forums.
Thought Leadership
- Develop deep expertise in power market fundamentals, market design, policy developments, transmission planning, resource adequacy, and emerging technologies.
- Publish white papers, market insights, presentations, and other thought leadership content.
- Contribute to enhancement of ICF's proprietary market forecasting models, databases, and analytical capabilities.
Staff Leadership and Mentorship
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior consultants and analysts.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance development activities.
- Foster collaboration across market regions and technical disciplines.
