Manager Security - ADMINISTRATION

About the role

This position is Full Time and Day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Directs the hiring and scheduling of the Public Safety officers (PSO) and Information Assistants (IA).
• Maintain records and prepare all necessary reports pertaining to DPS.
• Conducts investigations and maintains liaison with local and state law enforcement and emergency services.
• Conducts Disaster drills with state and local emergency services.
• Attends emergency service meetings at state, county, and local levels.

Requirements

• Coursework/Training: Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
• Upon hire: California Security Guard Registration.
• Preferred: Coursework/Training: Advanced peace officer or corrections Standard of Training.
• Upon hire: California Police Academy-post certified.
• 5 years Experience in active law enforcement or corrections.
