Manager - SAP Basis & Release

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within an Aerospace & Defense environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure connections between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Administer technical connections in SAP Business Technology Platform
• Perform troubleshooting for multi-system data issues
• Create and execute release strategies for system changes
• Govern Transport Management System and resolve code dependencies
• Coordinate and document release activities and processes
• Evaluate and schedule SAP patches and upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years in SAP Basis/NetWeaver administration
• 5+ years in a cloud-hosted or SAP RISE environment
• Deep knowledge of SAP integration technologies like IDocs and APIs
• Mastery of SAP Transport Management and Solution Manager
• Experience in complex IT landscapes with high-volume data exchanges
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or nuclear sectors is an asset

Pay

$144,100 – $192,100 annually
