Manager, Sales Operations & Planning

About the role

The position is responsible for managing the S&OP team, including facilitating the planning process, driving improvements to the process, and aligning the final plan with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage capacity on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure the most effective and efficient production to meet customer demands.
• Translate sales and operations plan, project forecasts, and current orders into a monthly production plan per facility.
• Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all production schedules.
• Assemble and publish reports regarding performance to business plan, shipment plan, inventory plan, and production plan.
• Compile raw materials demands and share with planners, coordinators, and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
• Manage professional employees and/or supervisors or supervise large, complex technical or business support or production operations teams.
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operations challenges.
• Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5-7 years’ relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time.
• Ability to work in plant and office environments.
• Working conditions could include: dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.
