About the Opportunity:The Manager, Sales Operations and Contracting leads a remote team focused on client acquisition, onboarding, and deal operations within the small group sales segment. This role enhances contracting and order workflows and ensures timely, accurate support for internal stakeholders and clients. It works cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, Finance, Legal, and Continuous Improvement teams to improve operational performance and service quality. 3. Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations team to ensure accountability and consistent execution.Set clear team goals and manage daily work aligned with business priorities.Monitor and manage shared case queue metrics to ensure timely task resolution.Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Onboarding leadership to support client lifecycle.Oversee proposal, contracting, and order processing activities.Partner with Finance, Legal, and Continuous Improvement to streamline and automate processes.Maintain and analyze team reporting and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.Track performance indicators to guide decision-making and prioritize work.Utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance data organization, reporting, and productivity.Serve as escalation point for complex issues and lead prioritization discussions.Support change management for new workflows and operating models.Maintain clear communication and team connection in a remote environment.Participate in cross-functional planning affecting client operations.Travel up to 20% annually. 4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.3–5 years in customer support, operations, or related roles.Prior people management experience.Experience with high-volume shared queue or service environments preferred.Proven ability to coach and develop teams through change.Strong relationship-building and communication skills.Analytical skills with experience interpreting data and reporting.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.Experience with Salesforce CPQ required.Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI preferred.Contracting or deal operations experience preferred.Ability to work West Coast hours and effectively collaborate remotely.Comfortable using AI tools for operational analysis and productivity. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary range: $100,000 to $170,000, based on experience, skills, and market rates.Compensation includes base pay plus potential short- and long-term incentives such as annual bonuses, variable compensation, and equity plans, depending on role eligibility.
