Manager, Sales and Business Development (West Coast)

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Sales and Business Development (West Coast) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will own new-business development across the West Coast, with a focus on building a strong pipeline and advancing opportunities through the full sales cycle. The manager will work closely with decision-makers at pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations to drive customer growth and deliver revenue results. This position also requires market awareness, trade show representation, and a consultative approach to selling biologics and drug product capabilities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $147,500 annually Responsibilities Build and manage a new-business pipeline across pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities Oversee the full sales cycle for biologics and drug product offerings Meet or exceed revenue targets and drive customer growth Develop trust-based relationships with decision-makers in client organizations Represent the company at trade shows and industry events Monitor market dynamics and customer intelligence to inform strategy Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in CDMO sales or business development Solid understanding of biologics and/or drug product processes Track record of generating and closing new business deals Strong relationship-building and consultative-selling skills Willingness to travel up to 50% across the West Coast Benefits Annual cash bonus program 401(k) plan with generous company match Comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental, and vision Family building benefits and support for caregiving needs Tuition reimbursement Paid vacation and holidays Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
