Manager, Revenue Accounting

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Revenue Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee revenue accounting activities tied to product revenue and gross-to-net analysis in a highly regulated life sciences environment. The manager will partner closely with finance, commercial, and external advisors to support accurate reporting, forecasting, and compliance. This is a hands-on opportunity to strengthen close processes, improve automation, and help ensure sound revenue recognition and controls. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $129,000 – $160,000 annually Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly product revenue and gross-to-net close activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate and timely revenue reporting Assist in financial reporting deliverables and audit requests as needed Prepare and enhance gross-to-net forecasting models for various analyses Drive automation of revenue accounting and forecasting processes using AI tools Manage external consultant interactions for government pricing calculations Ensure compliance with SOX and prepare documentation for audits Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field 6+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries Familiarity with gross-to-net accruals and reserves, including rebates and discounts Proficiency in monthly and quarterly close activities such as journal entries and reconciliations In-depth understanding of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP Experience in SOX-compliance environments and internal controls Strong analytical skills with a focus on using AI tools for improvements Benefits Competitive cash compensation and robust equity awards Strong benefits package including health and wellness programs Significant learning and development opportunities Opportunity to work remotely with a flexible schedule Collaborative and dynamic work environment focused on innovation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
