About the role

AbleLight is currently hiring a Manager of Residential Operations for the Portland, OR, market. The role is dedicated to leading a team that provides person-centered care and services to those supported in a residential setting, aiming to fulfill the company's mission.

Responsibilities

• Talent, Leadership & Results: Ensure a culture that aligns the passions and talents of others to serve the people we support by developing others, empowering teams, promoting collaboration, removing barriers, achieving results, and recognizing and appreciating talent.
• Welcome, onboard, and train new leaders joining the team, and identify additional training and development needs for programs and leaders' teams as part of Quarterly Connections.
• Maintain a focus on metrics and budget to positively support area and state business results.
• Demonstrate positive leadership behaviors leading the way through individual behavior.
• Be the resource for any colleague, person we support, or parent & guardian in the home if local leadership efforts to resolve a topic are not successful.
• Bring recommendations forward related to quality and process improvements for our employees and those we serve to enhance standard operating procedures.
• Be part of a team who enhances the lives of our individuals in every way possible.

Requirements

• Two to three years of previous experience in a similar work position, volunteer/community role, or educational setting that focuses on serving and helping others.
• Two to three years of previous leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
