About the Role

Individual will work as part of the Carroll laboratory as well as with the Stem Cell and Xenograft Core experiments studying AML therapy using pre-clinical modeling in immunocompromised mice. Responsibilities include significant oversight of a recently funded NIH project, interaction with the PDX Net to characterize AML xenotransplantation models, and management of a large collection of banked AML tissue samples. The role involves extensive collaboration with researchers using AML samples and/or PDX models, as well as with the pre-clinical development team to optimize assays for clinical translation studies.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily operations management of research projects in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and project teams; supervises staff, plans meetings, and manages budget.
• Develops and manages systems for data collection, quality control, and compliance.
• Oversees and manages data for the research projects.
• Prepares financial, regulatory, and technical progress reports; drafts articles for publication; prepares data summaries.
• Oversees day-to-day research project management, coordinates activities of each research project, and supports team members.
• Develops, plans, and organizes training, supervises researchers, and participates in data collection.
• Creates and oversees operational procedures for data management.
• Creates data visualizations and reports on research findings.
• Writes grant proposals and ensures deadlines are met.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

For Manager B: Master of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

For Manager C: Master of Science and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Position is contingent upon funding.

Pay

Salary range: $61,046.00 - $106,940.00 annually. Offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
