About the Role

This role involves supervising the ingestion and delivery of subsets of licensed data to clients using in-house software. Responsibilities include database backup/restore, application installation and configuration, system maintenance, troubleshooting, DB and cluster failover, and disaster recovery (DR) failover. You will interact with software, monitor application processes and logs, handle issues, or escalate them to the respective teams. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

A lead in this role handles deployment infrastructure within cloud and datacenter environments, collaborating with software development teams to ensure reliable application deployment. Key responsibilities include designing and monitoring cloud resources, addressing infrastructure issues, and providing technical support to development teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts between product design, development, and business-oriented operations to achieve successful new product launches.
• Design and maintain the organization’s infrastructure, deploy automation, and reduce risk management.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline code releases and enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Manage Azure DevOps tools and services, ensuring smooth code integration and automating processes.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates to define and manage infrastructure resources.
• Set up monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor or Application Insights) to track system performance and proactively address issues.
• Ensure security best practices, manage access controls, and maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA).
• Work closely with software developers to understand their requirements and provide guidance on DevOps practices.
• Supervise application processes and logs, handle issues, or escalate them to the appropriate teams.
• Perform database backup/restore, application installation and configuration, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage DB and cluster failover, as well as disaster recovery (DR) failover.

Requirements

• Graduate degree (B.Sc/M.Sc Computer Science, B.CA/MCA, B.E) with a proven track record in application support or technical operations.

Pay

The anticipated base salary for this position is $129,700 - $216,100, with variations by geographic location, city, and state. This role is also eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/bonus plan), with target rates commensurate with role level and career stage.
