About the Role

Manages the daily and strategic operations of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech-Language Pathology and supervises personnel in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Serves as liaison between Ambulatory Services and other departments. In partnership with physician leaders, takes a leadership role in planning, developing, marketing, and evaluating all aspects of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology Department in support of the mission and strategic objectives of this program.

Identifies and pursues gainful opportunities and ventures for Ambulatory Services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily and strategic operations of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Supervise personnel in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
  • Serve as liaison between Ambulatory Services and other departments.
  • Lead planning, development, marketing, and evaluation of the department in partnership with physician leaders.
  • Identify and pursue gainful opportunities and ventures for Ambulatory Services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Advanced analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective leadership.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and harmoniously with medical staff and administration to facilitate program goals.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or National Safety Council required.
  • Provides care appropriate to patient population as described in applicable policies and procedures.
