About the Role
Manages the daily and strategic operations of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech-Language Pathology and supervises personnel in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Serves as liaison between Ambulatory Services and other departments. In partnership with physician leaders, takes a leadership role in planning, developing, marketing, and evaluating all aspects of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology Department in supporting the mission and strategic objectives of this program. Identifies and pursues gainful opportunities and ventures for Ambulatory Services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred
- Advanced analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective leadership
- Ability to work cooperatively and harmoniously with medical staff and administration to facilitate program goals
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council) required
- Provides care appropriate to patient population and as described in applicable policies and procedures
