About the role
Accountable for the operations of an assigned team or teams of nurses, therapists, clerical staff, or others. Responsibilities include directing specific programs and services, supervising assigned staff to ensure high-quality patient care, attainment of financial objectives, quality measures, and patient and employee satisfaction.
Success is measured by three key outcomes: financial performance (performance to budget, attainment of case mix indicators, productivity, and other factors); achievement of quality indicators at predetermined targets; and satisfaction of patients, families, community agencies, and physicians. Success also depends on the ability to collaborate with other managers, develop new services, and integrate services within broader Kaleida Health.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee operations of assigned teams (nurses, therapists, clerical staff, or others).
- Supervise staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Attain financial objectives, including budget performance and productivity targets.
- Achieve predetermined quality measures and patient/employee satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with other managers to develop and integrate new services.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy (required).
- Master of Science (MS) in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy (preferred).
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (PTD) (preferred).
- Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license (required upon hire).
- NYS Driver’s License (required upon hire).
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Certified Home Health (required).
- 2 years of experience in Case Management (preferred).
Schedule
- Standard bi-weekly hours: 15.00.
- Weekend/holiday requirement: Yes.
- On-call required: Yes.
- Scheduled work hours: Variable.
- Work arrangement: Onsite.
Pay
Salary range: $48.46 – $66.63 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Pay frequency: Bi-weekly.
