Manager, Records Management
About the role
This position is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of the firm’s Records Management function. The role provides end-to-end ownership of records management operations, including physical and electronic records, and is accountable for team performance, policy implementation, and process optimization across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the firm’s Records Management strategy
- Lead development of policies, standards, and procedures
- Establish goals, metrics, and reporting
- Act as subject matter expert to leadership
- Own end-to-end Records services delivery
- Oversee full records lifecycle
- Ensure SLA adherence and performance tracking
- Address service gaps and risks
- Lead, develop, and manage staff
- Oversee hiring, coaching, performance management
- Manage workload and resource allocation
- Build a high-performing team culture
- Ensure policy and regulatory compliance
- Partner with Legal and Risk teams
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Drive automation and process improvements
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions
- Partner with IT on enhancements
- Promote transition to electronic records
- Act as liaison across departments
- Support onboarding and education
- Represent function in firm initiatives
- Drive adoption of best practices
Requirements
- Significant experience in records management or information governance
- Proven leadership and operational management experience
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Deep understanding of records lifecycle and compliance
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities

Pay
The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $99,000 to $120,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
This position offers a hybrid work engagement with two days of remote work, and three days in-office.
