About the role

The Manager, Transaction Management supports transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and debt capital markets. They are responsible for due diligence and closing coordination. The role requires at least 5 years of transaction experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, operations, or real estate investment banking.

Responsibilities

  • Supports due diligence and closing coordination for acquisitions, dispositions, and debt capital markets
  • Manages and assists in reviewing property documents and coordinating due diligence tours and third-party vendors
  • Coordinates with sellers, Blackstone’s transaction team, and LivCor teams (Debt Capital Markets, Investments, Portfolio Strategy, Capex, Asset Management, Risk, Tax, Accounting, and Legal Teams)
  • Manages the broker opinion of value (BOV) process, preparing property materials for brokers, and assisting in answering property questions
  • Manages the review of documents and coordination of due diligence, tours, and third-party vendors
  • Schedules investment due diligence related to operational performance
  • Communicates with the Investments team on deal timelines and notable items
  • Serves as the main point of contact with buyers and sellers throughout the life of the deal
  • Ensures proper coordination with other LivCor departments for onboarding and offboarding assets
  • Manages one or two direct reports
  • Performs targeted projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant real estate experience (asset management, operations, transactions (dispositions or acquisitions))
  • Passion for real estate and investing
  • Experience in multi-family real estate and transactions preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of high achievement in demanding professional and academic settings
  • Experience in managing others
  • Superior analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, motivated, energetic, and independent with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent references

Pay

$125,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

Hybrid work model with offices in Chicago, NYC, and Atlanta
