Manager - Radiology

About the role
Under the direction of the Administrative and Technical Director, you will exercise overall supervision of the department. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and disciplining employees according to hospital personnel policies. You will identify, study, and assist in resolving departmental problems, manage assigned staff, and complete established competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the annual department operating and capital budgets
- Direct daily operations of assigned departments
- Direct performance of staff; hire, fire, and discipline staff with consensus of the Administrator
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
- 3–5 years of technical experience and 1–2 years of management experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification; state license if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
