About the role

The Manager of Quality is responsible for Quality Management, Regulatory Compliance, and performance improvement activities at either Kadlec Regional Medical Center or St. Mary Medical Center (Southeast Washington Service Area). The Manager provides vision and leadership throughout the organization relative to continuous improvement of clinical quality outcomes. This position designs, implements, and maintains systems ensuring integration of quality improvement activities at the ministry. The Manager is responsible for assuring that safeguards are in place so that patient safety is a top priority for all medical staff and caregivers, and for ensuring the Medical Center meets requirements and standards of the Joint Commission and other applicable State and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.

This position will primarily be onsite at St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance initiatives.
• Design, implement, and maintain systems for continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure patient safety is prioritized across medical staff and caregivers.
• Oversee compliance with Joint Commission standards, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited school of nursing.
• Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
• 5 years of experience in hospital acute care.
• 3 years of recent leadership experience.
• Experience with Joint Commission standards, state and federal regulations, and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field.
• Experience in policy development and analysis of complex data.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60.82 - $96.01 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, Day shift.
