About the role

We are looking to hire a Quality Manager to work onsite at our Everett, WA facility. This role requires a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all activities of the Quality Control Inspection and Quality Engineering team.
  • Provide leadership to the Quality Department staff including mentoring, coaching, training, recruiting, performance management, and employee development.
  • Serve as the Quality interface and expert between the organization and its customers.
  • Develop and implement program quality plans and procedures; drive harmonization between Landing Gear program quality teams.
  • Manage site quality Key Process Indicators, develop and implement improvement activities, and drive reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and customer escapes.
  • Manage the site continuous improvement program (CORE) to support improvement targets and drive harmonization within the CORE operating system; serve as the CORE domain focal.
  • Manage the site Quality Management System and ensure compliance with industry, customer, and organizational requirements.
  • Utilize the QMS to drive a risk-based approach to proactively improve the site’s processes.
  • Promote a One-Collins approach to drive strong relationships and partner with Everett operations, Landing Gear sites, and the Collins Organization.
  • Promote the RTX Zero framework to drive best-in-class performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance processes.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Six Sigma Certification.
  • RTX CORE Champion Certification.
  • Quality Management System Experience.
  • Auditing Experience.
  • Leadership Experience.
  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Customer Communication Experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $118,300 – $224,900 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Schedule

This is an onsite role. Employees in onsite roles work primarily at the designated location. Candidates may be asked to attend select interview steps in-person at one of our office locations.
