About the role
This PFT Manager position is Full Time- 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Accomplishes twenty-four hour accountability for department operations, ensuring care is equitable, timely, effective, efficient and safe.
- Ensures optimal patient and family experience.
- Recruits, mentors and retains engaged staff.
- Maintains collaborative partnerships with all disciplines.
- Fosters an environment that utilizes evidence-based practice and research to adopt and implement innovative care practices.
- Creates a culture of safety that promotes team building and relationships.
- Maintains environment and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Participates in planning for research activities required to be performed in laboratories.
- Develops and manages annual operating budget for unit, managing financial resources to budget and educating team on financial implications of patient care decisions.
- Ensures participation in educational programs to foster goal attainment to organization initiatives, competencies and harm prevention.
- Creates the operational objectives, goals, and specific strategies required to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Uses technology to support improvement of clinical and financial performance; identifies technology trends, issues and new developments as they apply to patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Master's Degree Preferred.
- At least five (5) years experience in the field of pulmonary function testing.
- At least three (3) years experience in the care of neonatal/pediatric patients.
- At least four (4) years supervisory/leadership experience.
- Respiratory Therapist (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board upon hire.
- Osteopathic Respiratory Therapist (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board upon hire.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire.
- Registered Pulmonary Function Tech (RPFT) - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire.

Benefits
Salary Range: $98,820.00 - $126,000.00 Annually
