About the role

Amazon is seeking a Manager, Public Policy to develop and execute the company's federal and state public policy efforts related to digital trust and safety issues. You will be responsible for developing and executing public policy and advocacy priorities on issues related to content policy. Responsibilities will include working before relevant executive branch agencies, Congress and state legislatures. You will also coordinate advocacy work on these issues with consultants, trade associations, and other relevant stakeholder groups. A day in the life

You will track and analyze state and federal legislation, identifying emerging policy trends. Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development)
  • 8+ years of public policy experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks and policy analysis methodologies
  • Experience working on connectivity and/or accessibility public policy

Pay

USA, VA, Arlington - 138,500.00 - 187,300.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
