About the role
The Manager, Public Policy is a key member of the US Public Policy team. Reporting to the Director of Policy and Reimbursement, this role works closely with the policy and broader government affairs teams as an analyst and thought partner. Key responsibilities include monitoring and tracking policies relevant to GSK’s portfolio, conducting in-depth research and analysis, developing advocacy materials, and supporting external stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of relevant policies and regulations impacting GSK’s portfolio and conduct in-depth research to extract key business insights.
- Create informative slide decks, research briefs, and other content to effectively communicate insights.
- Analyze key federal regulations from relevant government agencies like HHS and CMS, and develop communications around these regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of GSK’s overall policy agenda in the US.
- Support policy and advocacy strategies, including the development and approval of materials, in collaboration with relevant matrix partners.
- Represent GSK at external policy forums and serve as a conduit to policy consultants and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years’ direct experience in policy analysis, government, consulting, or similar experience, including prior health policy and pharmaceutical experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, advanced degree (e.g., MPH or MPA) a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Understanding of healthcare and biopharmaceutical industry issues, including medical and pharmacy drug benefit dynamics.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in project management, collaboration, and contributing to internal teams.

- US annual base salary range: $134,250 to $223,750.
