About the role

The Manager, Project Management role is available for a forward-thinking leader to manage a team of project managers. The position is based in Cranberry Township, PA and involves leading the New Generation Power & Datacenter Solutions team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of project management professionals to deliver high-quality project outcomes focused on new generation and datacenter projects.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with financial, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize project plans, including resource planning and staffing strategies.
  • Capture and coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners, to ensure successful execution.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, analyze project challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to support proposals and project pursuits.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers while ensuring a high level of satisfaction and delivery excellence.
  • Provide regular forecasts and insights related to sales, resource utilization, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the development of new solutions, services, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote best practices to enhance project management processes and organizational efficiency.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience in project execution or engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide teams and strategies successfully in manufacturing or engineering organizations.
  • Strong understanding of project management and engineering principles.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include project management certification (PMP®, PgMP®, or similar certification) or equivalent hands-on application of formal project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Emerson Ovation™ systems or other Distributed Control System (DCS)/Programable Logic Controller (PLC) platforms.
  • Exposure to structured project management methodologies (PMI-based, Agile, or hybrid) in customer-facing environments.
  • Experience in power generation, datacenters, or other critical infrastructure environments.
