Manager, Program Finance
About the role
The Space Superiority Division is seeking a Manager, Program Finance to support two portfolios in the AEO Business Area. The candidate will oversee employees supporting program finance processes and deliverables, work as a key business partner to Program Managers and functional teams, and perform financial analyses.
Responsibilities
- Works to achieve program operational targets to impact overall division results
- Communicates with program management and cross-functional teammates to explain and interpret information
- Sets up and maintains the program's financial plan
- Prepares budgets for contract work and performs financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Conducts detailed financial analysis to provide insight into cost and schedule health on a program to ensure financial objectives are met
- Interprets performance data on a weekly and monthly basis with the goal of providing early indicators of program health
- Maintains program adherence to approved budget
- Responsible for monthly financial forecasting and long-range planning of their respective programs, focusing on Orders, Revenue, Profit and Cash Flow
- Trains, oversees, supports and develops PFA staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

- Strong Proficiency in Earned Value Management, EVMS certification is a plus
- Experience with creating financial forecasts
- Proficiency with a financial ERP system, such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion, or SAP
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with customer deliverables (IPMDAR, CFSR)
- Experience in performing Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR)
Pay & Benefits
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $105,500 - $196,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
