About the role

Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. Provide effective financial administrative planning and control on fixed price and cost re-determinable engineering development programs. Develop program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value / project management purposes. Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identify trends, and provide information to Project Leadership Team (PLT) or corrective action implementation. Interact with external customers, including the preparation and submission of customer cost & schedule related data items. Prepare and analyze contract Estimates at Complete (EACs) and provide complete financial support to assigned program teams. Support Program Management in assessing program risks and opportunities. Collaborate with PLT to analyze, prepare, and input monthly sales, profit, and milestone billing forecasts and perform the same effort for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on assigned program(s). Provide variance analysis of monthly sales, costs, profit, schedule, and milestone billing forecast in comparison to prior forecast and AOP.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Experience working with large amounts of data
  • Experience with financial tools such as COBRA and/or SAP
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, practices, and procedures. This includes EVM System tool usage, such as Deltek Cobra and SAP/BW and Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Working knowledge of US Governmental contracting techniques
  • Experience with other Collins financial organizations such as Pricing, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Ops. Finance is a plus
  • Understanding of scheduling fundamentals is a plus
  • Experience presenting to groups at the leadership level

Pay

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Schedule

This role is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
