About the role
The Air Dominance Finance team within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit is seeking a finance professional to manage the financial aspects of a portfolio of contracts. Key responsibilities include cost and schedule control, financial forecasting, and proposal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Provide key recommendations to senior team members based on analysis enhancing value for all stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) systems, innovating in practices, policies, and standards to meet customer requirements with minimal tools support.
- Develop monthly forecasts, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and Long Range Plans (LRP) in collaboration with functional partners, using various financial tools like RPlan, SAP, BW, and Excel.
- Ensure flawless work product for internal and external deliverables, providing financial strategies in proposals and contract negotiations.
- Act as a finance delegate for proposal reviews, gate reviews, and strategic discussions with the program regarding profit and favorable criteria.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls, tools, and processes.
- Lead and develop a team of 6+ program control analysts.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience.
- Experience in Financial Planning and Program Controls.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience implementing Earned Value Management, delivering IPMDAR and CSDR, and familiarity with the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process across various government contract types.
- Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to prepare and present briefings to customers, administration, and peers.
- Comfortable in a highly visible position and capable of recognizing and implementing process improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience in FFP, CPFF, T&M, and other government contract types.
- Ability to recognize and implement process improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in proposal preparation and program kickoff reviews.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 - $204,500 annually.
Schedule
This role is fully onsite in Tucson, AZ.
