Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening in the Global Surveillance Division for a Manager Program Control 2 in Melbourne, FL. This leadership role involves managing a team of cost analysts in a fast-paced environment with diverse contracts. Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision, including performance goals, work assignments, timecard approvals, and policy compliance.
- Develop employee skills and evaluate performance in EVMS implementation, cost/schedule reporting, EAC development, variance analysis, and reconciliations to SAP.
- Support customer Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Supplier IBRs, and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits.
- Ensure timely completion of contract deliverables (CFSR, CSDR, IPMR, CWBS).
- Focus the team on quality, accountability, and performance while clarifying roles and financial impact.
- Act as the primary interface with program offices, functional leadership, and external auditing agencies for EVMS tasks.
- Support proposal preparation, fact-finding, and contract negotiations to represent cost management issues.
- Serve as the primary customer contact to maintain communication and address potential cost issues.
- Operate in a fast-paced, frequently changing, and demand-driven environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 7 years of Finance/Business Management experience OR Master’s Degree and 5 years of Finance/Business Management experience.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of EVMS software (e.g., Cobra), SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 7+ years of hands-on cost/schedule management experience.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited university.
- Experience with SAP S4 and strong analytical skills.
- Background in Aerospace/Defense programs and familiarity with IPMR/IPMDAR.
- Advanced proficiency in EVMS (Deltek Cobra), accounting systems (SAP S4), and financial systems (Cognos).
- Experience leading teams as a functional or matrix manager.
- Experience interfacing with government audit agencies (DCMA, DCAA) and internal audit teams.
Pay
Primary salary range: $126,600 – $189,800. Offers consider experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differentials, discretionary bonuses, annual performance-based bonuses, and long-term incentives (for VP/Director roles).
