Manager, Program Compliance- Disability Services

About the role

The Program Compliance Manager works under the direction of the Director of Quality, Disability Evaluation Services (DES), and collaborates with senior and executive staff. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and interagency agreements, assisting in RFP research and proposal response, developing quality improvement initiatives, conducting random sample assessments, and preparing reports on quality assessment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy of disability determinations and ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor data collection, reporting, and trending activities related to program compliance
• Facilitate the Quality Assurance Team in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct random sample assessments targeting areas of improvement and accuracy of reviews
• Collaborate with DES staff to develop and present training initiatives improving the review process
• Prepare reports to agencies regarding quality assessment
• Research and draft agency procedural standards based on relevant regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent 3-5 years of related professional experience in a health-related setting
• Leadership experience in a dynamic team environment
• Experience with modern technological tools and systems
• Experience with case review in the context of applying regulations

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health-related field or equivalent
• Regulatory experience with Social Security disability determination process
