Manager, Professional Services - Application Development

It serves a significant portion of the market, including 22 of the top 25 P&C carriers and 7 of the top 10 wholesale brokers in the Managing General Agent space.
About the Opportunity
This role leads a team responsible for client-facing implementations of a core commercial insurance platform. The Manager, Professional Services - Application Development is accountable for technical design, integrations, and ensuring development quality through project completion in a billable Professional Services context. The position plays a critical role in guiding teams through complex enterprise SaaS implementations, fostering strong client partnerships, and balancing delivery quality with operational efficiency and continuous development practice improvement.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including 2 years in leadership or management
- Experience with client-facing software implementations, preferably SaaS or enterprise platforms, in a Professional Services or consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and system integrations (APIs, data interfaces)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Experience in code quality assurance through reviews and testing, using modern SDLC and CI/CD tools
- Capability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project setting
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
