About the role

As a Teller at Capital you are the face of the credit union. It's more than just processing financial transactions. It's building lasting relationships with members by providing exceptional service and identifying their financial needs.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances.
• Identify member needs and refer them to appropriate credit union products and services, such as loans, accounts, or investment options.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor to create a positive member experience.
• Balance cash drawer and ensure compliance with all operational and security procedures.
• Stay informed about credit union products, services, and promotions to effectively assist members.
• Resolve member inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing exceptional member service.
