Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily schedules that support the high-level master schedule, used to populate daily needs in visual management boards.
• Lead and manage visual management tools and dashboards with information from the daily schedule.
• Plan overtime and resources.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports at least once per quarter.
• Ensure all employees are up to date with compliance training.
• Document employee coaching and validate team productivity and correct labor charging to meet productivity requirements.
• Handle performance management and development plans, including developing leads into future managers.
• Drive continuous improvement through documented and implemented actions.
• Assess and drive 5S improvement actions.
• Maintain an emphasis on Foreign Object Debris (FOD) elimination.
• Identify and implement process and quality improvements to enable delivery execution and ramp to rate.
• Resolve issues daily to keep the area fully operational; escalate unresolved issues to other areas as needed.

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred.
• Prior supervision experience preferred.
• Firm understanding of process development, validation, and deployment in an advanced manufacturing environment (e.g., Aerospace, Automotive, Defense).
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and quality requirements of aerospace composite integration, machining, and completion processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools to prepare reporting and metrics tracking.
