About the role

As a product manager on the Menu - Food team, you will be at the heart of Starbucks’ multibillion-dollar food business. Food plays a critical role in making our coffee moments more meaningful and our brand more relevant. We are looking for a strategic leader to deliver end-to-end food programs and drive unparalleled food experiences that our partners are proud to serve and our customers crave, creating long-term value for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Craft new food experiences that our customers crave and our partners are proud of.
  • Shape category direction using strategy, customer insights, and data; lead test-and-learn work that refines concepts, uncovers opportunities, and drives category growth.
  • Translate strategic direction into clear project priorities; align cross-functional partners on what matters most; stay agile amid shifting demands; and support effective decision-making amid uncertainty.
  • Lead end-to-end collaboration with Product Innovation, Product Development, Sourcing, and Operations to imagine and commercialize food experiences that deliver on our food strategy at scale.
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners toward shared goals; adapt messaging to diverse audiences to build alignment, secure buy-in, and move the organization forward.
  • Champion our team culture rooted in joy and craft, while demonstrating courage to pursue bold ideas, delivering high-quality results, and embracing shared wins along the way.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience in a related military occupational specialty code.
  • 4-7+ years of progressive experience in product or brand management.
  • Functions effectively with ambiguity.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills; comfortable with syndicated data.
  • Able to work in a matrix environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • MBA strongly preferred.

Onsite four days a week.

Pay

The actual base pay offered will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
