Manager, Practice Management
Practice Operations Management oversees the business and administrative operations of a medical practice. The Practice Management job family is responsible for staffing, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and property management with a goal of optimizing patient care, operational efficiency, and financial viability.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily clinic or department operations.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
- Monitor productivity and operational performance.
- Recruit, train, and supervise medical and administrative staff.
- Schedule employees and manage staffing needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
- Address employee and patient concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management, required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field preferred.
- Oncology experience, highly desired.
At this level, you will manage department operations and supervise professional employees, front line supervisors, and/or business support staff. You will participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals and ensure employees operate within guidelines. Decisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers. Interactions typically involve resolution of operational or project-related issues with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels, and may include senior management.

Anticipated salary range: $98,200 - $162,750
