ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
- Preparation of the annual budget. Supervise this process from start to finish and present to senior leadership.
- Prepare and update the long-term forecast periodically throughout the year.
- Prepare and report monthly results. Monthly updates to the annual forecast are required.
- Maintain a close productive relationship with Accounting, Financial Reporting, Insurance, Tax, Commercial, and Operational groups.
- Prepare budgets and forecast information for joint interest and joint venture partners.
- Prepare Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in our 10Q and 10K filings.
- Prepare quarterly analysis reporting package for quarterly earnings calls.
- Support the Senior Director of FP&A in responding to requests from external analysts.
- Support our Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and ratings agencies.
- Participate in team objectives of maximizing efficiencies with reporting, automation, and optimization.
- Provide support of our TM1 production and development environments supporting multiple users, maintaining existing dimensions, and managing user access/security.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting related function, preferably with at least 8 years of Midstream related experience (specifically Pipelines and Terminals)
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly proficient with MS Excel and modeling skills
- Knowledge of the midstream oil and gas industry, FERC experience is a strong plus
- Solid time management skills: ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage a small team of analysts
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- IBM Cognos TM1 experience preferred but not required to apply. However, this role is responsible for TM1 support so the willingness to learn is required
- SAP experience preferred, but not required
