Manager - Pipelines FP&A

Essential Duties/Functions

  • Prepare the annual budget. Work with the Sr Director of FP&A to present this budget to senior leadership.
  • Prepare and update the long-term forecast periodically throughout the year.
  • Prepare and report monthly results. Present this report to financial, commercial, and operational leadership monthly.
  • Prepare and update the annual forecast monthly.
  • Maintain a close, productive relationship with Accounting, Financial Reporting, Insurance, Tax, Commercial, and Operational groups.
  • Prepare budget and forecast information for joint interest and joint venture partners.
  • Prepare Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in our 10Q and 10K filings.
  • Prepare quarterly analysis reporting packages that will be presented to financial, commercial, and operational leadership in preparation for our quarterly earnings call.
  • Support the Senior Director of FP&A in responding to requests from external analysts.
  • Support our Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and ratings agencies by providing actual and forecasted financial information.
  • Participate in team objectives of maximizing efficiencies with reporting, automation, and optimization.
  • Provide support of our TM1 production and development environments supporting multiple users, maintaining existing dimensions, and managing user access/security.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting related function, preferably with at least 8 years of Midstream related experience (specifically Pipelines and Terminals).
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency with MS Excel and modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of the midstream oil and gas industry, FERC experience is a strong plus.
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid time management skills: ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage a small team of analysts.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IBM Cognos TM1 experience preferred but not required to apply. However, this role is responsible for TM1 support so the willingness to learn is required.
  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
