Essential Duties/Functions
- Prepare the annual budget. Work with the Sr Director of FP&A to present this budget to senior leadership.
- Prepare and update the long-term forecast periodically throughout the year.
- Prepare and report monthly results. Present this report to financial, commercial, and operational leadership monthly.
- Prepare and update the annual forecast monthly.
- Maintain a close, productive relationship with Accounting, Financial Reporting, Insurance, Tax, Commercial, and Operational groups.
- Prepare budget and forecast information for joint interest and joint venture partners.
- Prepare Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in our 10Q and 10K filings.
- Prepare quarterly analysis reporting packages that will be presented to financial, commercial, and operational leadership in preparation for our quarterly earnings call.
- Support the Senior Director of FP&A in responding to requests from external analysts.
- Support our Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and ratings agencies by providing actual and forecasted financial information.
- Participate in team objectives of maximizing efficiencies with reporting, automation, and optimization.
- Provide support of our TM1 production and development environments supporting multiple users, maintaining existing dimensions, and managing user access/security.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting related function, preferably with at least 8 years of Midstream related experience (specifically Pipelines and Terminals).
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency with MS Excel and modeling skills.
- Knowledge of the midstream oil and gas industry, FERC experience is a strong plus.
- High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid time management skills: ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively manage a small team of analysts.
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- IBM Cognos TM1 experience preferred but not required to apply. However, this role is responsible for TM1 support so the willingness to learn is required.
- SAP experience preferred but not required.
