About the role
The Manager of Philanthropy Services at Loyola Medicine serves as a key liaison between frontline fundraisers, clinical departments, and administrative teams to ensure a seamless donor experience aligned with the institution's mission of advancing patient care, research, and education.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage development processes, including pipeline development, donor strategy, and stewardship.
- Partner with frontline fundraisers to develop and advance donor strategies.
- Draft proposals, briefing materials, stewardship reports, and tailored donor acknowledgments.
- Support internal and external communications that highlight philanthropic impact and strengthen a culture of philanthropy.
- Collaborate daily with gift officers, the VP of Philanthropy, and cross-functional philanthropy teams.
- Cook up donor materials, gift packages, stewardship schedules, and related reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in development/philanthropy or marketing/communications within a complex organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines from concept through delivery.
