Manager Perioperative Services
About the role
As our Manager of Perioperative Services, you will provide comprehensive leadership and operational oversight for all perioperative phases, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient surgical care. Your role optimizes patient outcomes and staff performance. Every day you will manage multidisciplinary teams, optimize surgical schedules, oversee resource allocation, and implement best practices to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency. You will also monitor financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
To be successful, you need extensive perioperative clinical/leadership experience, a deep understanding of surgical processes, and exceptional interpersonal/problem-solving skills. Your ability to inspire staff, manage challenges, and align services strategically will be paramount in fostering excellence and achieving superior surgical outcomes.
Requirements
- Required Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of six years of recent work experience in perioperative nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities
- Three years in a supervisory or management capacity
- Prior experience in a tertiary level setting, particularly in PACU (Recovery Room) and/or Pre-op/Phase II, or previous leadership position in a Perioperative Services department that included the Peri-Anesthesia departments, is ideal

Pay
The pay range for this position is $66.26 - $109.33 per hour.
