Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of key People Operations programs - including payroll, benefits, HRIS management, and compliance—ensuring operational excellence and accuracy.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on our HR technology stack, leading initiatives to optimize systems and improve data integrity.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues, providing expert-level analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate on high-impact, cross-functional projects central to People Operations, such as annual benefits open enrollment, performance management cycles, and new policy implementation.
- Proactively audit and analyze existing HR processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and designing and implementing scalable solutions.
- Translate functional goals into actionable project plans, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Act as an advisor and consultant to leaders and employees on complex employee relations issues, compensation, and policy interpretation.
- Utilize people analytics to provide data-driven insights on key metrics and trends, helping to inform business decisions and measure program effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in HR/People Operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional HR projects from initial design to successful completion.
- Deep subject matter expertise in at least two of the following areas: benefits administration, compensation, HRIS management, or employee relations.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to identify trends and influence decisions.
- Expertise in California and federal employment law and a track record of ensuring company-wide compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and resolve complex issues with sound judgment.
