About the role
The Manager, Patient Recruitment position at Flourish Research supports our Bowie, MD site. The role is responsible for managing the Recruitment Specialists and developing recruitment strategies. The position also involves creating and maintaining study-specific pre-screening forms, updating databases, leading team meetings, and communicating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain study specific pre-screening forms for Recruitment Specialists
- Enter data into CRS software to manage the database and track leads
- Lead team huddles to share information and educate on new studies
- Create and revise productivity tracking tools for individual and team recruitment goals
- Interview potential research candidates and schedule screening visits
- Communicate with Research Coordinators, Principal Investigators, and Sub-Investigators
- Request and retrieve medical records of potential research candidates
- Create and maintain referral trackers
- Serve as team liaison and distribute call lists, referrals, and portal candidates to callers
- Update prescreening logs as needed
- Aid in recruitment team hiring process, including interviews and training
- Assist with advertising needs and outreach activities
- Attend SIVs and study training events
- Represent Flourish Research professionally in interactions with staff, clients, and vendors
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in patient recruitment within a clinical research site environment
- Minimum 3+ years' experience managing patient recruitment teams
- Exceptional knowledge of clinical research methods
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Office365 products
- Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred but not required
