Manager - Patient Food Service

About the role
Oversees the daily operations of hospital patient foodservice functions in collaboration with the Director or General Manager. Ensures services such as meal delivery, order taking, and related functions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. The role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, manages staff performance, and serves as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and the food and nutrition team.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or nutrition preferred.
- Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization (required upon hire and maintained current).
- Two (2) years experience in food service operations.
- Ability to use a PC.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) preferred.
- County-specific Food Handlers certification (required upon hire and maintained current).
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $66,164.80 to $95,804.80 annually. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
