Manager or Senior Manager - Renewable Energy Credits

About the role

Seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to provide expertise in federal IRA tax credits related to renewable energy, including Investment Tax Credits, Production Tax Credits, Clean Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, and more.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design, calculation, and documentation of tax credits
• Lead project execution and ensure compliance through technical memoranda and workpapers
• Oversee project management frameworks
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams
• Maintain client relationships
• Participate in business development
• Mentor staff
• Participate in engagement reviews

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum five years of experience in federal taxation, with a focus on renewable or energy-related tax credits
• Bachelor's degree; CPA, EA, or JD/LLM preferred; must obtain approved credentials if not already held
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with ability to handle complex datasets
• Strong knowledge of federal tax credits, regulations, and compliance
• Experience managing technical engagements, reviewing work, and leading teams
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction

Additional for Senior Manager

• At least eight years of relevant experience, with a focus on federal tax planning and renewable energy credits
• Leadership in managing multiple complex engagements and driving business growth
• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff
