About the role
This leader will oversee a team of Operation Engineers who act as single liaison between Operations and Engineering. The key responsibilities include:
- Filtering signals from DSP feedback and ops listening tools to identify and prioritize engineering programs
- Owning consolidated operational dashboards (e.g., Pulse Dashboard) that provide a single pane of glass across SP&E programs
- Serving as the dedicated conduit that translates operational pain points into actionable engineering requirements, eliminating the current ad hoc handoff model
Responsibilities
Create and maintain a series of tools to filter signals, report out engineering solutions and Own the team's engineering program dashboard, providing real-time visibility into program health, risk, and milestones across the network
- Manage and develop a team of up to 6 engineers, setting goals, providing feedback, and owning career growth and performance
- Build strong relationships across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Material Handling, and Equipment teams
- Establish shared mechanisms and collaborate with partner teams to align on standards, processes, and solutions
- Facilitate cross-functional reviews to align on design and process decisions
- Lead engineering design standards, module audits, and root-cause deep dives, translating findings into actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Experience leading and managing a team
