About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an assigned facility, ensuring productivity schedules and quality goals are met. This includes managing employees, inventory control, storage, ordering, and directing annual budget preparation and goal-setting to achieve planned results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead daily operations of a large area or plant.
  • Oversee inventory control, storage, and ordering processes.
  • Prepare and implement approved capital plans and projects; develop and direct facility maintenance and improvement programs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills across all operational areas, including employee relations, equipment, maintenance, product and service lines, and reporting.
  • Manage all aspects of production and distribution, including inventory.
  • Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and expense elements.
  • Identify, promote, and execute the group’s overall strategy.
  • Direct facility employees, assess their needs, and foster a culture that encourages productivity, career development, and good morale.
  • Create, modify, and adhere to the overall financial plan for the area or plant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in plant and office environments.
  • Working conditions may include exposure to dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.
