About the Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an assigned facility, ensuring productivity schedules and quality goals are met. This includes managing employees, inventory control, storage, ordering, and directing annual budget preparation and goal-setting to achieve planned results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead daily operations of a large area or plant.
- Oversee inventory control, storage, and ordering processes.
- Prepare and implement approved capital plans and projects; develop and direct facility maintenance and improvement programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills across all operational areas, including employee relations, equipment, maintenance, product and service lines, and reporting.
- Manage all aspects of production and distribution, including inventory.
- Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and expense elements.
- Identify, promote, and execute the group’s overall strategy.
- Direct facility employees, assess their needs, and foster a culture that encourages productivity, career development, and good morale.
- Create, modify, and adhere to the overall financial plan for the area or plant.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work in plant and office environments.
- Working conditions may include exposure to dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.
