Essential Job Functions
- Scheduling billable operations
- Responding to safety incidents or issues
- Participating in Root Cause investigations, Near Miss tracking, Preventative Action development, and Corrective Actions
- Resolving customer concerns regarding quality and preventing future occurrences
- Ensuring vendors are properly vetted and classified as approved suppliers
- Acting as a liaison between the customer and vendors/internal groups to resolve conflicts
- Reviewing customer work records for thoroughness, completeness of purchase orders, and clarity of items/equipment used
- Facilitating technician growth and development
- Managing technician training and the field evaluation process
- Evaluating crew mix to achieve maximum profitability
- Monitoring technician utilization to control non-billable hours and improve District profitability
- Managing the District fleet and fuel expenditures
- Scheduling technicians in Team Apps and approving/verifying hours worked and expenses
- Preparing customer quotations and pricing completed job packages
- Managing purchasing activity and working with vendors to ensure costs are received in a timely manner
- Managing the District inventory, placing orders through Manufacturing, and participating in the Quarterly Cycle count process
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or industry related field preferred
- Five (5) plus years of industry related experience
- Previous Management Experience preferred
- Previous experience working in an ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Work Conditions
- Position is located at the District office
- Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting
- Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
