About the role

Partnering with Sales, Marketing to provide support to the business, deliver profitable growth and pricing excellence.

Lead daily pricing operations such as maintenance of list prices and discount matrix in ERP systems, including pricing support in product launch process.

Address pricing-related inquiries, provide pricing guidance and pricing tool support, and develop solutions for product bundling, promotions, and discounts.

Lead to ensure discount and approval matrix are updated, collaborate with different workstream peers to troubleshoot and resolve pricing and quoting issues, and collate system improvement requests for development.

Establish holistic pricing / discount analysis to support business growth.

Drive targeted responses to identified challenges such as FX and other market factors that affect price.

Collaborate with regional and country marketing teams to align promotion requirements with systems' functionalities.

Identify and craft price improvement projects and drive the implementation and roll-out of key methods and tools with various business lines and countries in the region.

Advocate for and implement policies, systems, and processes to efficiently lead price deployment.

Actively work on process improvement to streamline existing processes.

Exercise independent judgement to evaluate, review and provide recommendation for appropriate action.

Mentor professional development of team members with inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product price and profitability reviews, analyse market competition, and administer/evaluate special pricing assessments.
  • Ongoing support on day-to-day maintenance of price lists.
  • Maintain price lists and ad-hoc pricing data analysis.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of pricing or related analytical experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of pricing or related analytical experience, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a sophisticated matrix organization, and maintain positive professional relationships with peers and upper management.
  • Excellent at prioritizing multiple projects at the same time and shows creativity and innovation in presenting ideas.
  • Proficient user of SAP, Power BI, Cognos, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Hire, lead, mentor, strengthen and develop the finance & accounting team to enable professional and technical growth as well as talent retention.
  • Promote a culture of personal responsibility/accountability and open communications.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision, values and competencies.

Qualifications

  • The ability to identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical-Process-Improvement.
  • Travel requirements: 10% - 15% of travel.
