Manager, Oncology

Position Summary The Oncology Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for oncology patient care services, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care across the oncology program. This role manages clinical operations, supervises staff, and helps foster a professional practice environment that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care. The Oncology Manager works collaboratively with interdisciplinary partners to support positive patient outcomes and a consistent patient experience. The position ensures compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and Trinity Health policies while responsibly managing departmental resources within a structured and supportive care environment. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee daily oncology patient care operations to ensure quality, safety, and consistency with established clinical standards.Supervise, coach, and evaluate oncology staff, supporting performance management, staff engagement, and professional development.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate oncology care delivery and support continuity of care.Monitor quality metrics, patient safety indicators, and compliance requirements, implementing improvements as needed.Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, supplies, and equipment within approved budgetary guidelines.Promote effective communication and a positive work environment that aligns with Trinity Health’s mission and values.
