Manager of Oncology
Job Summary
The Manager of Oncology ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager of Oncology monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing - required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - preferred
- 1 + years of leadership experience - required
- 3 + years of applicable RN experience - required
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation - required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - required
- ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration - required within 18 months of hire
