Job Description
The Manager- Office Vendor & Administration at Ascentium Capital contributes to the efficient and effective workings of applicable departments by performing daily tasks that require a strong attention to detail and advanced industry and business knowledge.
- Reviews invoices for validity, proper approvals, and coding, including cost center designations
- Processes payable transactions timely and maintains records accordingly
- Imports or approves NACHA files and enters or approves wire transactions through the online banking platform
- Reviews/approves exception items in the online banking platform
- Helps with setting up new employees and reviewing employee expense reports to ensure proper support documents have been received and that Company Expense Reimbursement Policy is adhered to
- Initiates disputes when needed and ensures timely payments
- Sets up Fixed Asset Additions in Regions' accounting system for each capitalized expense and works with the Accounting team on any issues/changes
- Scans and/or saves support documents for payable transactions
- Pulls payable documentation as needed for audit requests, internal reviews, or legal proceedings
- Handles light purchasing as needed for fixed assets or corporate credit card transactions
- Provides training to employees on the proper use of the associate expense management system
- Issues 1099-MISC once per year in conjunction with the applicable manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in accounts payable
- Experience with general ledger accounting
- Experience operating a ten-key calculator/keyboard
