About the role

The Manager of Supplier Growth & Sales leads a team of Account Managers & Retention Specialists to protect and expand the AvidXchange Payment Network. The role requires driving ePayment adoption and revenue growth through coaching, sales strategy, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Performance: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers & Retention Specialists. Set clear KPIs, optimize territory allocations, and provide hands-on coaching in discovery, objection handling, and executive-level communication.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Guide the team in building account-level business cases and ROI storytelling. Oversee re-engagement strategies for disengaged accounts, ensuring corrective action plans are in place to drive conversion and adoption.
  • Data-Driven Forecasting: Oversee the team’s use of CRM insights and payment mix reports to identify trends. Maintain accurate team-level forecasting and pipeline visibility, designing scalable solutions to address any patterns of underperformance.
  • Cross-Functional Advocacy: Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to resolve friction points in the supplier experience. Serve as the "voice of the supplier" in strategic discussions to influence our product roadmap and operational enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of success in B2B SaaS sales or account management, with at least 1–2 years in a formal leadership or team lead capacity.
  • Industry Knowledge: High preference for candidates with experience in FinTech, Procurement, or AP/AR/Payments automation.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proactive and resourceful, with a proven ability to motivate individual contributors in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to interpret data and coach others on forecasting discipline and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and interact confidently with C-level executives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional Certifications: Preferred certifications in sales, customer success, or finance.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
